Can I get a “hell ya” for some seriously anticipated Drogon action???

game of thrones drogon spoils of war

I feel like I am able to talk about this now as it has been days since the airing of this amazing Game of Thrones episode. So many things happened this week. But I cannot get over the epic battle scene in Spoils of War episode. I thought it would be tough to top the Battle of Bastards but this is just so #EXTRA.

Seriously all the feels in this episode. Arya and Sansa reuniting, Dany and Jon in the CAVE, Jon and Theon, Jamie and Bronn against the Drogon and Tyrion whispering words of advise to his ill fated “fucking idiot” brother. Best episode to boot.

Not to delve too much into the episode, I want to focus on our girl Daenerys Targaryen. The Unburnt has been met time and time again with resistance and yet she perseveres. A metaphor for many women, she is kind, strong, loving and brilliant. Khaleesi of the great grass sea shows mercy and lays down the law when needed. She has made mistakes and has learned from her mistakes. Mother of Dragons rules with her peoples’ interest at heart much like us in our homes as moms. This may be a fictional story and we obviously do not own Dragons, but her character is so relatable. We have watched her grow into her own. Knowing and showing signs of a great ruler but finding her way, in her own way. There are so many parallels that can be draw from this fictional character into our own lives, first time moms, starting a new career, understanding yourself, understanding the needs of others and the importance of positive relationships. I am highly anticipating the next episode, I am excited to see what is in store for our

Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the First of Her Name, The Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Queen of Meereen, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Protector of the Realm, Lady Regnant of the Seven Kingdoms, Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons
