I work at an internet company. Converting prospects to customers through phone interactions, and create a positive customer experience. Analyzing user needs to determine technical requirements. Assisting in setting up or optimizing analytics tools for tracking visitors’ behaviors. Advising and stressing the importance of Search Engine Optimization to customer and assist them in implementing SEO on their sites. Recommending and implementing performance improvements with an emphasis on Social Media. Mainly, I help companies make money through the internet. So why am I helping everyone else and not myself? Good question. I guess it is a trait of being a mom. Everyone else comes first. Let’s see what we can do about that.
This is it ladies! This is what I am talking about. It’s our turn. I am a firm believer in “If you love your job, you never work a day in your life”. I want that. The feeling of not only being financially successful but truly successful. My definition of success is happiness. What’s yours? Is it to be the CEO of a company? Is it to become the head of your department at work? Or maybe is it is to have a paper published, be the number 1 sales agent, master a software program, speak 10 languages (one of my goals is to speak Spanish, like my mother, apparently I was fluent as a child and then completely lost it, well shit), find the cure for cancer? Or maybe it is something a little less career and more personal, like being able to sing in public or hike to the top of Mt. Everest. Whatever it is, GET IT DONE!
Members of my tribe are doing it now. They have worked their ways up to a management level, became their own boss, traveled to numerous countries, raised incredible children, ran marathons and participated in Spartan races.
Me, I have managed to keep my kids alive, made some long lasting friends, kept my job, live a healthy life style (ahh who am I kidding PIZZA FOREVER), keep up on things trending, and sleep. Yes, sleep, if you get anything out of this website remember SLEEP. It is important, a necessity and feels amazing.
I hold a position outside of the home, I have a number of friends who run their own show. Travel agents, clothing and bag consultants, jewelry retailers, home cleaners, graphic designers, bloggers etc. Below are some amazing women, doing some amazing things. Check out their bios (click on the images) for more information, please feel free to reach out to them, or if you want to be featured, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
